AHA has recently launched an important new initiative. AHA has commissioned the development of a Cultural Plan which will become part of the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan, and serve as a road map to the cultural life in our community. Meetings

Mission Statement
The mission of AHA is:
- to preserve the rich history and culture of Jefferson County,
- to encourage creative opportunity for all its citizens,
- to facilitate communication between those involved in the arts and humanities and the community at large, and
- to assist cultural groups and individuals in educational and developmental efforts.
